I have always been a fan of Dior’s fragrances. Something about their sweet, intoxicating scent always makes me feel beautiful. So when I heard that Dior was launching a new fragrance, I knew it would be one I would want to try. For me J’adore is classic! And Dior’s classic perfumes are delicious and alluring, and Dior always makes sure to keep up with the latest trends — which is why I was so excited when they announced the launch of J'Adore Parfum d'Eau!

J'Adore is one of my all-time favorite scents.  But does the J’Adore Parfum d’Eau live up to the original? Let’s find out! 

About the product 

Dior continues the conquest of the fragrance market, combining tradition and modernity. Launched in September 2022 the new fragrance, a concentration of only water and flowers: J'adore Parfum d'Eau reinvents the promise of pleasure that J'adore has kept since 1999.

The French luxury brand's latest release J'adore Parfum d'Eau a new fragrance from the J'Adore Dior collection. With this new edition, Dior reinvented J'adore as an alcohol-free formula. 

J’adore Parfum d'Eau fragrance is an intimate, delicate, and feminine sensation inspired by the desire for a more discreet yet just as captivating fragrance. Freshly cut roses take center stage, mixed with sensual notes of vanilla and orange blossom. The result is a note of intense clarity and purity, enhanced by an accord of bamboo leaves. Sparkling like water, this limited edition J’adore Parfum D’Eau is a lighter version of the original J’adore fragrance — but it is just as seductive.

Francois Demachy is the nose behind this fragrance. He has worked with brands like Emilio Pucci, Tiffany, and Chanel. He's also responsible for some of your favorite scents like Miss Dior or Sauvage.

I love the packaging—it's so minimalist yet still luxurious. The legendary J'adore bottle appears in a new shade: a pearly white with the softness of alabaster, echoing the velvety caress of flower petals.

Top Notes: Neroli de Vallauris

Heart Notes: Jasmine Sambac

Base Notes: Chinese Magnolia

The top notes are Neroli de Vallauris—a bright blend of orange blossom and rose that smells absolutely heavenly. The heart notes are jasmine Sambac—a floral scent that has hints of carnation and tuberose but is still feminine without being too sweet or cloying. The base notes are Chinese magnolia—a light floral scent that's very pure and delicate. Overall, the fragrance is fresh but rich, so it feels luxurious without being overpowering or heavy on your skin (which can be a problem with some perfumes).

Concentration and Longevity  

The Dior J'Adore Parfum d'Eau is a beautiful, fresh scent that has a clean, powdery feel. It's not as strong as the original J'adore and doesn't last as long—usually about 4-5 hours before it fades before you reapply it. 

If you're looking for something that's light and airy, this is your best bet. It's a beautiful fragrance that will give you just enough of what you love about J'adore without being too much.

My Opinion on Dior J’Adore Parfum d’Eau

When I first tried Dior's new Parfum d'eau, J'adore, I was taken aback by the sheer beauty of it. It's not just beautiful—it's transformative. The scent is so light and airy that it seems to float on your skin like a cloud of perfume.

Although I've always liked Dior scents, this one is completely different. Every time you move your hand or tilt your head up to smell yourself, it's as if you're bathing in perfume; the fragrance follows you up.

But what really made me fall in love with this fragrance was its versatility. You can wear it anywhere—at work, on a date, or at dinner with friends. It goes with everything!

And while some may be put off by the price tag (50ml - AED 480), this is truly an investment in yourself: once you try J'adore Parfum d'Eau, you'll never want anything else again!

When you first spray the new J'adore Parfum d'Eau, you get a rush of freshness. It's like a bouquet of white flowers with all their petals still on—you can almost feel them brushing against your skin like silk.

But then something else happens: The velvety jasmine and magnolia come out from behind those crisp blooms to wrap around you in a soft embrace. And it feels like being wrapped up in freshly laundered sheets on a hot summer day—deliciously cool and cozy at the same time.

If you're looking for a perfume that will make you feel like a goddess, I highly recommend Dior J'Adore Parfum d'Eau. This is my go-to scent when I want to feel confident and put together, but also relaxed and laid-back.
