Vaseline has expanded its product line to include lotions, lip balms, and body washes, one of which is the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Body Lotion. This lotion is said to be light and refreshing, with a texture that is non-greasy and quickly absorbed. It is also claimed to be hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

So, does this lotion lives up to the claims? In this review, I will take a closer look at the texture, formula, and performance of the Vaseline Aloe Soothe Body Care Lotion to see if it is worth your time and money.

I've tried almost all of the Vaseline intensive care body lotions and loved them all.  But my favorite the one I repurchase again and again is Vaseline Aloe Soothe.  This body lotion has a medium consistency that is ideal. It's not thick, thin, or runny. The consistency of the lotion is just right. Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Body Lotion is the perfect lotion for sensitive and dry skin. 

You can have it all with Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Body Lotion: smooth skin that is not only soft and supple but also moisturized. The formula is a lightweight blend of aloe and vitamin E that glides easily over your skin for long-lasting hydration.

I apply Aloe Soothe daily in the morning or in the evening right after taking shower. I apply all over my body, legs, and arms except my neck and face. I noticed right away that my skin felt hydrated and soft, even before I had put my clothes on. This is a huge plus because no one likes to feel like they are walking around wearing a lotion glove on each limb! The lotion applies evenly and feels non-sticky once it dries out.  It's perfect for dry areas like feet, knees, and elbows.

While Vaseline has expanded its product line to include lotions, lip balms, and body washes, the original petroleum jelly is still the star of the show. One of my favorite Vaseline beauty hacks which I use daily is to apply petroleum jelly to my lips before bed. My lips feel soft and hydrated the next morning.

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Body Lotion comes in a light green plastic bottle available in both lid and pumps packaging. It is available in two sizes: 200ml, 400ml and 725ml, with prices varying accordingly. I personally prefer pump packaging because with lid packaging you squeeze the lotion out by pressing on the bottle, which I am sure will get more tricky once you start running low on it.

The key ingredients of this formula are petrolatum (a thick, sticky substance derived from petroleum), glycerin (an emollient that attracts moisture to the skin), and water.

Petrolatum is one of the most common ingredients in moisturizers because it creates a protective barrier on your skin that traps moisture inside while keeping out irritants like dirt and bacteria. It also provides an occlusive layer to help restore hydration to dry or cracked areas of skin.

Scent

While it is true that Vaseline's Aloe Soothe Body Lotion does not have the same powerful scent as some other lotions, its light fragrance is nonetheless pleasing to both the nose and skin. Yes! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and I will definitely repurchase this body lotion because of its wonderful effects on my skin. I really hope they release a body lotion with an amazing fragrance that lasts longer. The lotion would then get a 5/5 from me.

Verdict 

You can never go wrong with this product. It is perfect for all skin types and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and moisturized. It also does not feel greasy at all which is great for those of us who want a light but effective lotion that will not make our skin feel too dry or oily after use!

It is also very affordable and easy to find in stores.
